Welcome to Assisted Living South Dakota
South Dakota is named after the Dakota and Lakota, Sioux Indian tribes who lived there. The Missouri River divides South Dakota. The “east river” soil can grow a large variety of crops and the “west river” side is popular ranching country. The Black Hills are the location of the famous Mount Rushmore where the giant faces of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln were carved into it’s side. The climate ranges from the 20’s in the winter to the 90’s in the summer and you can find assisted living in Rapid City, Sioux Falls and Aberdeen. There are retirement communities in Pierre, Yankton and Huron and there is good Alzheimer’s care in Vermillion, Mitchell and Brookings. You can locate your choice by typing it in the search box on this page.
