Welcome to Assisted Living Kansas
The name Kansas came from the Kansas River which in turn got its name from the Kansa Indians. In the mid to later 1800’s, settlers turned the Kansas prairie into rich farmland and now, most years, it is a leading producer of wheat, sorghum and sunflower. The largest city to retire in Kansas is Wichita with the second largest being Kansas City, then Topeka. If you prefer smaller cities, you can choose assisted living in Shawnee or a retirement community in Lawrence or Alzheimer’s care in Olathe. The term “were not in Kansas anymore” came from the great classic The Wizard of Oz, but maybe Kansas could be your place to retire. Enter a city to see what your options are.
